Home Choices for Every Desire
The Oaks is an established 1,000-acre community on both the east and west side of North Tamiami Trail (US 41). There are three gated neighborhoods on the property:
The Oaks Clubside: Beautiful estate homes in a park-like setting incorporating the two golf courses.
The Oaks Bayside: Stately homes with mature, moss-covered oaks and slash pines along picturesque Little Sarasota Bay.
The Oaks Preserve: This neighborhood has three distinct areas.
- Bishop's Court consists of mostly single family homes and a few townhomes in a wooded setting.
- Emerald Woods is aptly named due to its beautiful Florida terrain preserve and lake. The maintenance-free villas are pristinely maintained and manicured.
- The Meridian consists of six luxury mid-rise condominiums with panoramic views of Little Sarasota Bay and the Gulf of Mexico beyond. Each residence includes a private elevator foyer.
A few estate lots are available in each of the three neighborhoods.
Membership information
The Oaks Club is a residential country club. Everyone who lives within the community is a member and, therefore, has a compelling interest in maintaining the very highest level of amenities and service.
In addition to resident memberships, a limited number of associate memberships are also available, renewable on an annual basis.
RESIDENT MEMBERSHIPS
When purchasing an existing home in The Oaks or building a new home on a lot in one of the three Oaks communities (Bayside, Clubside, or The Preserve), two membership options are available:
Equity Membership
Includes participation in all sports, including golf, complimentary bag storage and range balls, and all dining and social events sponsored by the club as well as a vote in the governance of the club. Prices and costs subject to change.
An initiation fee of $62,500, of which $40,500 is refundable
Annual dues of $6,875 plus $50/month service charge
Quarterly capital charge of $240
Social Membership
Includes participation in all sports, except golf during season, and all dining and social events sponsored by the club.
Non-refundable initiation fee of $40,000
Annual dues of $5,075 plus $50/month service charge
Quarterly capital charge of $150 OA K S C L U B
ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIPS
Non-residents may join as Associates. There are three categories of Associates, subject to annual availability.
Golf Associate
Provides privileges similar to those of an equity member.
Annual dues are $6,875 plus $50/month service charge
Quarterly capital charge of $240
Tennis Associate
Provides privileges similar to those of a resident social member.
Annual dues are $3,700 plus $50/month service charge
Quarterly capital charge of $84
Social Associate
Provides dining privileges only and includes social events sponsored by the club and use of the swimming pool and croquet court.
Annual dues are $3,385 plus $50/month service charge
Quarterly capital charge of $84
Dues are subject to Florida state sales tax.
